The Changi regatta is the first in a month of international competition for Wittey. The 35-year-old will go to Denmark on July 16 for the World Yngling titles, where he hopes to improve on two previous sixth placings.
SYDNEY Moth sailors Emmett Lazich and Sam Williams will be in England early next month defending their world titles.

The heavyweight division was won by Canberra's Brendon Todd, while Barcelona Olympic boardsailor Fiona Taylor from Victoria won the women's division.
A NEW offshore race to Newcastle, expansion of the Sydney-Wollongong race and the possible revival of the Montagu Island race are among ideas being considered by clubs for next season.

The proposed date for the Pittwater-Newcastle race is over the October long weekend, while the CYCA's Sydney-Wollongong and return races are scheduled for February.
